Virtus Training

Monday, May 24th is a General Meeting
As you know from the last Chatter,
that Deacon Bob O’Donovan will be conducting Virtus Training for the members of the Council and other K of C councils that want it
as we can hold 70 people for this. It is required by the Diocese to be taken by any adult that ministers to the parish especially
children. Deacon Bob has given over 40 sessions in the area. You will receive a certificate by mail for this training
that will be valid at any parish in the U.S. I request that all active Brothers take this training in order for us to help protect
our parish family especially our children from the risks hidden among us. If you have already had Virtus training there is no
need to repeat it.
Registration with Virtus Online is mandatory to receive your certificate. To register online please
go to www.virtus.org and click on Registration on the left hand side. Follow the instructions. When asked Select your Organizationchoose Rockville Centre, NY (Diocese) and when it asks for Location choose ST. FRANCES DE CHANTAL R.C.C. (WANTAGH). Select the
session for Protecting God's Children for Adults, Where: ST. FRANCES DE CHANTAL R.C.C. (WANTAGH), When: Monday June 7, 2010 at 7:30pm. Under Notes it will read Open to members of Council #6526 only. Session will be held at the St. Frances de Chantal Knights of Columbus
Council, 1869 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh.
